The family of the late Catherine MacKenzie (Cathy) wish to thank all family and friend for the sympathy shown to them in their recent sad loss. Thank you to all the Staff at Moss Park Nursing Home who provided Cathy with such wonderful care. Special thanks to Rev. Rory MacLeod and Mrs. Mabel Wallace for their comforting service and organist Mr. John Cameron for his musical contribution. Karen, Kenny, David and the girls, would like to take this opportunity to thank all friends, relatives and neighbours for their kind words, cards, calls and messages following the sad passing of their Dad and Papa. Sincere thanks to all the staff of Glen Mor Medical Practice for the kind and attentive care given to Bob over the years. Thanks also to all the amazing staff of CAU Belford Hospital whose kind and loving care was exceptional during his final days. A special thanks to Rev. Rory MacLeod for his comforting service; their good friend Mr Ally Stevenson for piping and to McDonald Brothers for the lovely floral tributes. The sum of £250.65 was generously donated to the CUA. A very special thanks must go to Scott and David of Greenlees & Son,  you truly do go above and beyond, taking care of Dad on his final journey. Thank you again.

The family of the late Donald Angus Fairbairn would like to thank all friends, relatives and neighbours for the many kind expressions of sympathy received; by way of cards, flowers, phone calls and visits. Sincere thanks to Alyson Stewart for her 

comforting ceremony and to The Railway Club for the refreshments. Special thanks to Graeme Buchanan for playing the pipes and McDonald Brothers for their beautiful floral tributes. Ian, Anne, Steven and all the family. would like to express their sincere thanks to all the friends and neighbours who called at the house, and for the many messages of condolences which have helped us during this sad time. It has been very moving to hear and see all the lovely comments of how well thought of and respected Beryl was. Special thanks to Angus and Jane who have been there for the family throughout, and who are still helping today - you are the very best of neighbours. Grateful thanks to the Doctors and staff at Craig Nevis Surgery, CAU Belford Hospital and Ward 2c Raigmore Hospital, especially Dr. Sheena Murdoch, Consultant Neurologist for the first class care you all gave to Beryl. Special thanks to Catheryn, who thought of Beryl as a second mum, and whom the family think of as her honorary daughter, your messages and loving memoires are helping them through a very difficult time which continues to comfort them. This has been the worst of times, but the friendship and love you have all shown has helped and supported the family and will help them as they move to a very different future. 

Mairi and Tony wish to convey their sincerest appreciation for the expressions of sympathy and kindness shown towards them following the recent sad loss of John. Our heartfelt thanks to all who attended church and graveside and to those who sent condolence messages, cards, flowers, made phone calls and other gestures of emotional and practical support. We are extremely grateful to you all. We offer our special thanks to the family of staff at Abbeyfield Ballachulish for their dedication, care, professionalism, and humour which they conveyed in so many ways to John and ourselves during his final weeks affording him precious time with family and friends for which we will be forever grateful. Sincere thanks to Rev. Malcolm Kinnear for his comforting spiritual service, Ms. Ena McAngus for the beautiful musical accompaniment and Major Janet MacIntyre of the Salvation Army for her fitting tribute and unwavering support. “Tapadh leat” to Piper Audrey Barnett for playing all John’s final requests with such sensitivity and professionalism. Margaret, Willie, Helen and Lesley would like to thank all relatives, neighbours and friends for their kind calls, cards and flowers following the loss their mum, Chrissie. Allan MacDonald and family would like to thank most sincerely all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many cards, flowers and messages of condolence received from home and overseas. Special thanks to Mallaig & Arisaig GPs, District Nurses and Home Carers, staff at the Belford Hospital and Macmillan Nurses, who worked together tirelessly to make it possible for Elizabeth to stay at home, by her own fireside in her last months, which was her abiding wish. Thanks to Rev. Stewart Goudie for a beautiful service, a fitting tribute to Elizabeth, and to Arisaig Hotel for funeral teas. Our sincere thanks also to Scott at Greenlees & Son for his care, respect and dignity shown to all the family at this sad time. Grateful thanks to those who attended Elizabeth’s funeral and for the kind donations totalling £450 for the River Fund and Arisaig Parish Church.

Colin would like to thank all relatives and friends for the kind expressions of sympathy extended to him following the sad loss of his devoted wife Maurin. Special thanks to the staff of Lloyds Pharmacy; Craig Nevis Surgery for being so attentive, especially Dr. John Wallace for always going above and beyond. Grateful thanks to Fr. David Connor for his comforting Mass, to Innis-na-Birlinn Cemetery for preparing Maurin’s final resting place, and to Greenlees & Son for their sensitivity and support with the funeral arrangements. Si and Matthew would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the messages of support and the kindness shown to them following the sad loss of their mum Christine.
