Suddenly but peacefully, at home, surrounded by her family, on Friday, 26th June 2026, Karen Ann MacEachan née Christie, aged 53 years. A loving wife of David, most loving and devoted mum to Rachel, Sarah and Ailsa, much-loved aunt and great aunt, dearly loved daughter of the late Robert (Bob) and Elizabeth (Betty), dear sister of the late Kenneth (Kenny). 


Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, 15th July 2026 in St. Mary’s R.C. Church. Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to James Support Group can be given at the service. Please wear bright colours. 


James Cowie

Sadly, at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, James William Cowie (Jamie/Jim), aged 60 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, 24th June 2026. A dearly loved partner of Denise, loving and supportive dad to Aimee and stepdad to Kerry and Ashley, doting grandad of Brontë, dear brother of Jeannie, John and the late Helen, Janette and Jacqui, a much-loved uncle of Gary, Brian, Bethan and Kader, great uncle of Ellie and Carter, also a dear nephew, brother-in-law, cousin and friend.

Peacefully, in Belford Hospital, Fort William on Saturday, 27th June 2026, Alexander John MacConnacher, aged 87 years, R.I.P. Formerly Glencoe Hotel and Gaelic Bus. Dearly loved husband of the late May, loving dad of Jill and Sander, devoted papa/papie to Darren, Cameron, Craig and Jamie, a dear father-in-law of William and Laura.

Peacefully, at home, on Tuesday, 23rd June 2026, Mary Livingston Cameron, aged 90 years. Dearly loved daughter of the late Robert and Katie Ann, a loving sister to Fiona, Margaret, Alister Neil, John Allan, Sheila and the late Duncan and Catriona, a much-loved aunt and great aunt.

Wendy MacDonald

1966 ~ 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wendy MacDonald (née Hamill), aged 60 years, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, 5th June 2026. Reunited with her daughter Kelly, together once more, just days before Kelly's 40th birthday on 11th June — a deeply poignant moment for all who knew and loved them. Most loving and devoted mum to Shaun and the late Kelly, cherished daughter of the recently departed Joan, loving sister to Graham, a dearly loved sister-in-law, auntie, niece, cousin and friend to many. Wendy faced many challenges with remarkable strength and always remained positive, full of humour, kindness and love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. 


A service to celebrate her life will take place at 12 noon on Saturday, 20th June 2026 at Caol Community Centre, thereafter to Glen Nevis Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
