If cremation is chosen for your loved one, there are several options available. Families may choose to hold a full service at the crematorium, or to hold a service locally in a church or other venue before travelling to the crematorium.

Another option is to hold a local service followed by a direct cremation, allowing the cremation to take place privately without a service at the crematorium. 

Some families may also choose direct cremation alone, without any formal service, and hold a private remembrance at a later date if they wish.

Our nearest crematorium is the Inverness Crematorium. The chapel can accommodate up to 140 mourners and is fully accessible for wheelchair users.

While Inverness Crematorium is our nearest crematorium, families are free to choose whichever crematorium best suits their wishes. We are happy to make arrangements and travel to any crematorium on your behalf.
