Greenlees Brothers
Brothers, James and Samuel J.P, were whisky distillers from Campbeltown before expanding to Glasgow, Edinburgh and London. Greenlees Brothers were suppliers to His Majesty the King (Edward VII and George V), the House of Lords, His Excellency the Viceroy of India and many other dignitaries world wide.
James and Samuel's nephew James, was also a distiller,
owning Longrow Distillery in Campbeltown.
Major Robert Wallace Greenlees MBE, J.P
Robert was part of the 4th Highland Mountain Brigade, Royal Garrison Artillery. He fought in Gallipoli and Egypt with the Queen’s Royal Regiment.
Provost of Campbeltown 1950-1952

Robert was the third Greenlees to be Provost of Campbeltown,
first being Charles then Samuel in 1870's.
Greenlees Family in Lochaber
Iain worked throughout Lochaber as a Area Sales Manager until late 1980's. His cousins were stalwarts of Mallaig.
David (Iain's son), was a Police Inspector for Northern Constabulary, starting in 1981, he and his wife lived at Fern Court, Caol, before moving to Grange Road, Fort William. David was a member of the Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team.
Scott (David's son), began a career in Funeral Directing, he along with his wife and daughters, lives a few doors down from where his parents once stayed on Grange Road.

In April 2020, Scott opened
Greenlees & Son Family Funeral Directors'
new Funeral Home in Caol.
